The other co-authors Mark Potts, Kev Tew, Tony Marks and Andy Scoffinare pleased to announce their book "When They Were Kings" is due to be released in May 2009. The hard back book will be around 400 pages and feature all Crewe matches (350+) with all heat details. It is also lavishly illustrated with many photos not previously published. We have interviewed all the main riders including Phil Crump, John Jackson, Dave Morton, Dai Evans and Chris Turner. The book is to be published in May to coincide with the 40th anniversary of league speedway at Earle Street.
