Paradise Wildlife Park Lunch

On Saturday May 9th 2009 around eighty people enjoyed an excellent buffet lunch, a visit to the speedway museum and the wildlife park on a lovely sunny day. During the afternoon our President Terry Stone, Secretary Vic White and overseas visitor "Bluey" Scott all fed the tigers watched on by a big gathering all wondering if we would have any fingers left afterwards! Bluey was over from the Gold Coast in Queensland for a visit to catch up with family and friends and wanted to see the museum with which he was very impressed.

As usual, Pete Sampson's hospitality was first class and the day turned out to be most enjoyable and we thank Pete for looking after us so well.

Amongst the riders who were able to come along were, another long distance traveller, Scots president Jimmy Tannock, Jimmy Gooch, Dingle Brown, Laurie Etheridge, Vic Gooden, Richard Greer, Alf Hagon, Leo McAuliffe, Eric Hockaday, Pete Sampson, Pete Saunders, Bluey Scott, John Stallworthy, Terry Stone, Mike Watkin, Vic White, Freddie Williams, Chas Aldrich and Russ Osbourn, I hope that I haven't left anybody out!
